King Agamemnon's Stubbornness

King Agamemnon is describe as a stubborn person. He and Achilles argue about the daughter of the priest offering King Agamemnon a ransom. He didn't accept it and told the priest to be off in harsh words. The priest prayed to Apollo and punish the king's men. Achilles want King Agamemnon to accept the ransom but the king is hard to deal with. The king said that he will accept the ransom but he will take Briseis, Achilles' prize. King Agamemnon want to show that he is powerful than Achilles and others to take anything he want. Achilles do not want to sacrifice many lives for a woman so he agree but he was so sad for that decision.

King Agamemnon is like our government. Government always shows that they are powerful to get what they want. They doesn't realize our trust that we give to them hoping that they can change our current status, hoping that they will stop persons abusing power. Power is the thing that allows a person to rule, to govern and to lead their nation to success, not for personal interest.
